1871 Stockholm Street still has its historic double front doors in the 2000 landmarks survey

The Landmarks Preservation Commission found in 2000 that 1871 kept its historic pair of wooden entrance doors behind a full-width porch of Doric columns and square spindles. Its curved three-bay front still had rock-faced limestone lintels and a pressed-metal cornice with swags, dentils and scrolled brackets. The brick stoop, fence, gate and window sash were replacements, and iron security grilles had been added at the basement windows.
