A narrow Greek Revival house with a stable passage goes up at 36 Bethune Street
No. 36 was built in 1847 as a small brick Greek Revival house just two windows wide, and was altered in 1928. An arched alley at its left side was the way through to a stable at the rear of the lot. By 1969 its front had been stuccoed, like that of its neighbor at No. 34, and it was topped by a simple cornice.
