Delafield Estate, Inc. built this house in 1915-16 (NB 600-1915) to a design by Dwight James Baum, one of Fieldston's prolific architects, and in 1916 it was bought by Jonathan J. Hamilton, a lawyer. A central wing with gambrel roofs is flanked by two lower side wings, with multi-pane windows and brick end chimneys topped by corbelled caps. In June 1918 the Architectural League of New York published the design.
