The two-family house keeps its curved bays, brownstone stoop and original iron railings

Built as a two-family Renaissance Revival house of two stories over a basement, the brick facade is three bays wide, two of them set in curved bays, above a rough-faced brownstone stoop and water table. A swagged pressed-metal lintel marks the entry and a bracketed metal cornice tops the front. The Landmarks Preservation Commission found the original cast-iron newel posts, wrought-iron railings, front door and areaway fence still in place, and listed the main changes as paint on the stoop and water table, an aluminum awning, wiring, utility meters and new windows.
