Filed in 1909 under new-building permit 3613, this house was built for Paul Stier to plans by Louis Berger & Company. The two-family brick house of two stories and a basement has a Renaissance Revival front of four bays, three of them in a curved projection, topped by a bracketed pressed-metal cornice with swags. By the time of the landmark survey the brownstone stoop, water table and basement lintels had been painted and a metal-and-plastic awning added.
