Around 1908 Paul Stier built this house as one of 21 two-family row houses, plus one flats building, lining 60-57 to 60-99 70th Avenue, under permit NB 2879-1908 with Louis Berger & Company as architect. The two-story Renaissance Revival front has a full-height curved bay, recessed panels of rough-faced brick and a cornice with egg-and-dart molding, consoles and swags. Its stoop still has a decorative metal vent grille, while three mailboxes have since been fixed to the stoop wall.
