Unlike the 22 two-family houses beside it, the last building in Paul Stier's 60-55 to 60-99 69th Avenue row was a three-story flats building with a commercial ground floor. Louis Berger & Company drew the plans, filed under permit NB 1769-1908. Its Renaissance Revival upper floors carry bands of rough-faced brick, stone sills and lintels, and a cornice with egg-and-dart, consoles and swags.

Mr. Bagel and Mark's Barber Shop occupy storefronts here when the district is landmarked

The Landmarks Preservation Commission's survey for the Central Ridgewood Historic District found a modern storefront and awning signed "Mr. Bagel" in a one-story rear extension of this building. The northern storefront on the Fresh Pond Road side carried a sign for Mark's Barber Shop & Beauty Salon. The survey also noted that the third-story windows had been made smaller by lowering their lintels and filling the gap with brick.
