In 1949 the Bethune Realty Corporation put up a six-story brick apartment house at the southwest corner of Bethune and Greenwich Streets, designed by I. J. Cransman. It filled the eastern end of the block and also carries the addresses 17 Bethune Street and 103 Bank Street. The site had held several houses and an apartment house called The Star.

“It occupies the site of several houses and of "The Star" apartment house, which once stood at the southwest corner of Bethune and Greenwich Streets.”
