Henry Fernbach's iron warehouse for the Meinhard brothers opens at 133-135 Greene

Terence J. Duffy built a six-story, five-bay iron-fronted warehouse here from a Henry Fernbach design, begun in June 1882 for Henry and Isaac Meinhard. The Landmarks Preservation Commission lists it as completed on March 31, 1883. Fernbach died that November, so it was among his last Greene Street works.
