A six-story warehouse for Edward E. Edwards is completed at Prince Street and West Broadway

Architect Franklin Baylies designed the brick, stone and iron warehouse at 143-145 Prince Street, on the northeast corner of West Broadway, for owner Edward E. Edwards. Construction ran from October 1898 to May 1899, and it was six stories tall with six bays on Prince Street. In 1908 a seventh story of plain brick, without decoration, was added on top.
