1823 Putnam Avenue has wood-grain double doors within a carved limestone entrance

Five bays wide at the base and four above, the pale yellow brick front has amber brick lintels, limestone sills and patterned brick and stone bands, with amber pilasters on corbelled bases. A pedimented hood on brackets tops the carved limestone doorway, which holds paired wood-and-glass doors finished to look like wood grain. Later owners added aluminum windows with projecting grilles, a metal awning on posts, a new brick stoop and sliding basement windows.
