1878 Cornelia Street, lot 20 of Queens block 3473, was built in 1911 by G. X. Mathews to Louis Allmendinger's plans, one of eight houses on permit NB 1315-11. It still has its bluestone stoop and old railing, wood basement windows and a grey-painted cornice with swags and cartouches. Alterations noted by the Landmarks Preservation Commission include a metal grille door with a transom, a sign on the facade and a partly replaced stoop railing.

“1878 Cornelia Street ... historic bluestone stoop and railing; wood windows with screens at basement ... non-historic, metal grille door with transom…”
