When the Landmarks Preservation Commission described the house in 2009, its five-bay buff brick front still had carved limestone lintels with keystones over the ground-floor openings, a bracketed stone door hood and its historic pair of wood-and-glass doors, painted a golden color. Later changes included aluminum windows, wood windows and grilles in the basement, grey paint on the bluestone band course, and a non-historic brick and cast stone stoop with metal railings.
