Filed together with 37-50 next door under permit NB 8142-1922, this is one of Cambridge Court's recessed "B" buildings, with a sloping mansard roof above a cornice at the fourth story, gabled dormers and a pedimented gable over the stair hall. Its entrance porch rests on paired fluted stone pilasters. The Landmarks Preservation Commission named this building and 37-49 85th Street as the two in the complex that still had their original multi-pane wood sash windows.
