This two-story brick row house went up in 1927 as the sixth of ten houses on the east side of 43rd Street in Madison Court South, the westernmost block of Sunnyside Gardens. It is a flat-roofed house of the plan the Landmarks Preservation Commission labels I, with a parapet, cast-stone coping and a basement entry beneath its stoop. Entrances in the row are topped by simple door hoods or white elliptical fan panels under arched brick lintels, and the backs, partly visible from 44th Street, historically had open porches on both floors.
