  1. 1924

41-18 47th Street closes the south end of a seven-house Colonial Court row

Built in 1924, 41-18 is the southern end house of the row at 41-02 to 41-18 47th Street in Sunnyside Gardens. Like the house at the north end, it has a flat roof with a plain parapet and cast-stone coping and sits back from the street. It is the only house in the row without a basement entry, and its three-bay south side once had six-over-six windows with a smaller four-over-four window in the middle.

At the 2007 designation of the Sunnyside Gardens Historic District, 41-18 had a non-historic enclosed brick porch whose roof was painted silver. Three courses of brick above the second-floor windows had been replaced, the parapet repointed and grilles added to the first-floor windows. On the south side, four aluminum sliding windows and extra openings had been cut at the basement, and the small side yard was paved.
