Paul Stier was the original owner of this two-story Renaissance Revival house of brick and stone, built under new-building permit 200 of 1907 to designs by Louis Berger & Company. Three bays wide with two of them in a curved front, it rises on a basement behind a rough-faced brownstone stoop. The stoop still keeps its original cast-iron newel posts and wrought-iron railings, and the areaway has its original cast-iron posts, fence and gate.
