Louis Berger & Company designed this three-story apartment building for owner Barnet Steinfeld in 1915, filing it as new building 2368 of that year. Its Flemish-bond front of wire-cut brick has five bays, two of them projecting, with molded window lintels, pilasters and a swagged pressed-metal cornice, and its original stoop survives. Its undecorated east side wall is now coated in cement stucco and paint.
