Around 1908 Charles Grosch filed permit NB 2506-1908 for a pair of two-story flats buildings at 60-84 and 60-86 Catalpa Avenue, designed by Louis Berger & Company in the Renaissance Revival style. This one has a decorative pier at the first story, stone and patterned brick banding, and a leaded-glass transom over the entrance. Its storefront was later taken out and the first story rebuilt with new brick and openings.
