In 1851 the Peugnet family sold the land to builder Reuben R. Wood, who also bought the adjoining lots facing West 12th Street. He quickly sold the property to Theodore R. Riley and in 1852 built two late Greek Revival brick houses for him, Nos. 13 and 15. No. 13 still has its stoop and its floor-length parlor windows.

“…property which the Peugnets sold in 1851 to Reuben R. Wood, a builder... He immediately sold the property to Theodore R. Riley, for whom he then built the two houses in 1852.”
