On the street side, 1826 has a pale yellow brick front over an amber base, patterned brick and limestone bands, and a carved limestone doorway with a pedimented hood; its paired wood-and-glass doors survive. The LPC report records aluminum storm windows on the lower two floors, aluminum replacements on the third, sliding basement windows and a new brick stoop. The six-bay brick rear, with a metal fire escape, has been stuccoed white.
