Permit NB 1312-11 of 1911 covered eight buildings by developer G. X. Mathews and architect Louis Allmendinger, 1851 through 1865 Putnam Avenue. Number 1851, also 791 and 793 Onderdonk Avenue, has a four-bay Putnam Avenue front of pale yellow brick over an amber base, amber-brick arched lintels, limestone sills and a modillioned cornice hung with swags and cartouches. Its ground-floor storefront has since been taken out.
