Schwab Court was built in 1924 for the Big Three Building Corp. to designs by Charles Schaefer Jr., at the corner of Gerard Avenue and East 158th Street. The six-story Colonial Revival building pairs textured red brick with beige brick, over a rusticated base with masonry bands. At the top are masonry window surrounds and a stepped parapet with plain friezes and roundels.
