Charlotte G. Williams has Dwight James Baum build a Tudor Revival house, apparently on speculation

Completed in 1926 to designs by Dwight James Baum, this half-timbered stucco house on a fieldstone base was built for Charlotte G. Williams. She and attorney Stephen G. Williams, who lived at 1155 Park Avenue in Manhattan, put up four houses in this part of Fieldston in the late 1920s, seemingly as speculative investments. The house has an exposed roof truss on its front and a tall brick chimney.

“It is one of four houses built by Charlotte G. Williams and attorney Stephen G. Williams, residents of 1155 Park Avenue in Manhattan…”

BKSK Architects raise the south wing by two stories for Steven Goldman and June Rohlef

In 2004-05 owners Steven Goldman and June Rohlef hired BKSK Architects to add a second story and an attic story to the house's south wing. The steps between the driveway and the front walk were changed and the front yard was relandscaped at the same time. The house itself is a wood frame clad in whitewashed stucco and false half-timbering over a fieldstone foundation, on a sloping lot with rock outcroppings and fieldstone retaining walls.
